Family Scripture Schedule

 (Week of June 2–7, 2025)

  1. Monday, June 2 – Samuel:
  2. Topic: “Worthiness Is Not Flawlessness” – video by Bradley R. Wilcox πŸŽ₯
  3. A powerful reminder that striving to do good, even with imperfections, is part of our spiritual journey. Samuel can explore how the Savior’s grace supports us as we try, fall short, and keep trying again.
  4. Tuesday, June 3 – Aliza:
  5. Topic: D&C 59:18 + “My Heavenly Father Loves Me” – noticing things in nature 🌿🎢
  6. While going for a walk or looking at pictures of nature, Aliza can help the family focus on things that “please the eye and gladden the heart.” This connects beautifully with the hymn and helps everyone recognize God’s love in His creations.
  7. Wednesday, June 4 – Lily:
  8. Topic: D&C 58:26–28 – stop motion video with Beanie baby toys 🎬🧸
  9. Lily’s creative take using a stop motion video with her Beanie Babies will illustrate what it means to be “anxiously engaged in a good cause.” A fun and hands-on way to dive into scripture!
  10. Thursday, June 5 – Emmalee:
  11. Topic: Choices and consequences + D&C 58:27–28 πŸ’‘πŸ“œ
  12. Emmalee can show how every choice leads to a consequence by using a paper labeled “Choice” on one side and “Consequence” on the other. Children can name choices and discuss outcomes, then explore how good choices bring blessings from the Lord.
  13. Friday, June 6 – Melissa:
  14. Topic: D&C 59:9–19 – reflecting on Sabbath worship 🌀️πŸ™
  15. Melissa can guide a discussion about how we use the Sabbath day and whether we’re using it the way the Lord intends. Questions like “How does the Sabbath help us remain unspotted from the world?” and “What does it mean to pay our devotions to the Most High?” can bring deeper insights.
  16. Saturday, June 7 – Matthew:
  17. Topic: D&C 58:42–43 + study on repentance ❤️πŸ•Š️
  18. Matthew will focus on the Lord’s promise to forgive those who truly repent. With supporting scriptures (Psalm 32:1–5, Mosiah 27, Alma 39) and resources like “Worthiness Is Not Flawlessness” and Daily Restoration, he’ll explore questions like “How do I know if I’ve repented?” and “What if I make mistakes again?”
