Monday, June 16 – Samuel: Forgiving Others (Cartoon) — Use a short, meaningful cartoon that shows someone choosing to forgive. After watching, talk about what forgiveness means and why Jesus wants us to forgive others. Ask: How do we feel when we forgive someone? How does the Savior help us forgive, even when it’s hard? Tuesday, June 17 – Aliza: I can follow Jesus with my heart and mind (D&C 64:34) — As you read to your children from Doctrine and Covenants 64:34⁠, point to your heart and head when you say “heart” and “mind,” and invite the children to do it with you. Talk about how giving our hearts means we love the Savior, and giving our minds means we think about Him and try to follow His ways. Ask: How can we give both our desires and thoughts to Jesus?
