  2. Topic: Doctrine and Covenants 69:1 — “True and faithful” friends help me follow Jesus Christ 👭
  3. Discuss why the Lord sent someone “true and faithful” with Oliver Cowdery. What does it mean to have loyal, Christ-centered friendships?

  2. Topic: I can be baptized when I am eight years old 💧
  3. Read Doctrine and Covenants 68:27. Talk about why baptism is important and what Jesus wants children to learn and do as they grow in the gospel.

  2. Topic: How the Doctrine and Covenants was printed 📘
  3. Discover the story behind how Joseph Smith’s revelations were published. Share your favorite verses and what they’ve taught you about Jesus Christ.

  2. Topic: I can help center my home on Jesus Christ 🏡
  3. Explore Doctrine and Covenants 68:25–31. How can each gospel principle help build a Christ-centered home—now and in the future?

  2. Topic: Doctrine and Covenants 67:10–14 — “Continue in patience” ⏳
  3. Reflect on how jealousy, fear, and pride block spiritual growth. What do these verses teach about overcoming the natural man and patiently drawing closer to the Lord?

Monday (Aug 18) – Samuel → Video (topic TBD) Tuesday (Aug 19) – Aliza → Doctrine & Covenants 89:10–17, drawing/looking at pictures of healthy things and discussing why the Lord wants us to care for our bodies. Wednesday (Aug 20) – Lily → Doctrine & Covenants 90:24, “All things shall work together for [your] good,” with a reflection on personal experiences and faith while waiting on blessings. Thursday (Aug 21) – Emmalee → Doctrine & Covenants 89 (introduction), temple song or picture to show our bodies are like temples, plus acting out healthy habits. Friday (Aug 22) – Melissa → Doctrine & Covenants 89, pondering “What are you prompted to do to better care for your body?” Saturday (Aug 23) – Matthew → Doctrine & Covenants 89:4, 18–21 & Elder Stevenson’s counsel, role-playing how to respond to temptations with alcohol/drugs, focusing on blessings of obedience.
